I'm so excited! I went to the meeting that I had arranged this morning regarding the position I was interested in and not only did I get the job but I got more hours than I expected at a higher pay rate than I was expecting - and I start working tomorrow.
I don't think I realised how much this situation was worrying me until I felt the relief of knowing that I am once again gainfully employed. It's definitely going to be a challenging role but I'm confident I can do it justice and the best part is that it gives me the flexibility to fit around the kids.
I start of working Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for a total of 20 hours and more hours will come as things start taking shape! It finally feels like that final door that I needed opened has finally opened.
I'm on track with my food and rocking my exercise - I feel like I'm in an amazing place right now and with "A's" birthday on Thursday I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend away with him in the country - even better now that I have something to celebrate!
Bring on the second part of 2015 - it's going to be awesome!
